Following the demise of Davido’s son Ifeanyi, so far at least nine domestic staff in Davido’s house, including Ifeanyi’s nanny and cook, have been picked for questioning by the police in connection with his sudden death.
Ifeanyi, the three-year-old son of popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke aka Davido, and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, drowned on Monday, inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos.
According to reports, Ifeanyi was left with his minders at home as both parents had to attend an event. Ifeanyi, who turned 3 years a week ago, drowned at his father’s swimming pool in the Banana Island area of Lagos State. After staying underwater for a long time, he was spotted and rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The family is yet to issue an official statement even though several Nigerian celebrities have consoled with the family.
